Controller and scope
QIYU / RideMates is operated by 深圳市阿丽塔软件信息有限公司 (Shenzhen Alita Software Information Co., Ltd.; English translation for reference). Privacy contact: 597579501@qq.com.
This policy covers our public website and processing whose purposes we determine in our cycling training tools. The public website provides product and privacy information. It does not offer account registration, Garmin OAuth, activity uploads, or online AI analysis. Our existing locally run training tool supports an authorized Intervals.icu connection, local activity-file analysis, and a training calendar.
Users' direct use of Garmin, Intervals.icu, or other external services is also governed by those services' own policies. We will update this policy and any required consent information before enabling new processing.

Data and specific purposes
- Activity data: after a user selects a connection or imports a file, available timestamps, distance, duration, speed, elevation, heart rate, power, cadence, and other necessary activity fields are used to display ride records, analyze performance, review training volume, and track progress. Route or location fields are processed only when needed for the user-selected feature.
- Training plans and calendar: user-entered or authorized schedules, completion information, and subjective training notes are used for calendar display, plan editing, and training review.
- Connection information: necessary account identifiers or credentials are used only for the authorized connection. Credentials must not be published in webpages, reports, or public source code.
- Website and correspondence: infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request times, paths, and browser/device information for delivery and security. If you email us, we receive your address and message to respond or handle a rights request.
The public website itself does not collect Garmin activity or health data. Direct Garmin API integration is not enabled yet. When available, it will process data only after the user authorizes the relevant Garmin permissions. Garmin data is not used for unrelated advertising or profiling.

Third parties and data sharing
We distinguish existing connections, public-site infrastructure, and planned services. A planned integration does not imply an existing data transfer.

We do not sell Garmin user data or provide it to advertisers or data brokers. Except for the processing expressly described here and legally required disclosures, we do not provide Garmin data to other third parties. New recipients or purposes will be disclosed in advance, with renewed consent where required.

AI Transparency Statement
No Garmin data or data derived from it is currently sent to an AI service.
Before enabling any AI training explanation or recommendation feature, we will:
- Identify the AI provider, purpose, exact data fields, retention conditions, and relevant international processing.
- Obtain separate, explicit opt-in before any transmission. AI consent will not be preselected or inferred from Garmin authorization.
- Transmit only necessary data after consent. Processing will not be enabled if Garmin's restrictions cannot be met.
- Provide an easy withdrawal method, including the contact email below. Withdrawal stops subsequent AI transmissions, and applicable deletion requests for previously transmitted data will be handled.
Garmin data and anything derived from it must not be used to train, evaluate, or improve any AI model. We will not perform or authorize such uses. AI processing will be considered only if the provider's applicable terms, configuration, and data-processing arrangements can meet this restriction. Any future AI output will be training information for reference.

Access, correction, export, deletion, and withdrawal
Email 597579501@qq.com to request access, correction, export, deletion, or withdrawal of consent for a particular processing activity. We verify only information necessary for the request and will never ask for your Garmin API key or account password.
- Access and export: existing local tools offer relevant activity and calendar export features. Copies of data held by us can be requested by email.
- Correction and deletion: identify the records and requested scope. You control data stored only on your device; we can provide instructions without unauthorized remote access.
- Disconnect: revoke the relevant third-party authorization or access credentials to stop future connections. Direct Garmin-disconnection instructions will be supplied when that integration becomes available.
- AI withdrawal: AI is not enabled. If enabled later, consent can be withdrawn separately without requiring deletion of the entire account.
Withdrawal does not automatically invalidate processing lawfully completed beforehand. Requests concerning data independently held by another service may also need to be directed to that service. We will explain the scope within our control.

Retention, security, and international processing
Existing local training data stays on the user's device, under their control for retention and deletion. This public-site deployment does not contain a cloud Garmin activity database or API keys. Correspondence is kept only as necessary to address inquiries and requests. Infrastructure logs are handled under the relevant providers' applicable terms and security requirements.
We use necessary access controls and avoid exposing credentials in public pages, logs, and shared files. Garmin API keys are for our organization only; they must not be shared, transferred, or made available for third-party use.
Alibaba Cloud, Intervals.icu, and any future OpenAI service may use infrastructure outside a user's country or region. Before enabling new international transfers of Garmin data, we will disclose the recipient and applicable conditions and complete required consent or other applicable arrangements.
This website has no advertising trackers, visitor-analytics scripts, or profiling tools. Its code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Infrastructure providers may use necessary security mechanisms.

Updates and contact
Last updated: 2026-10-24. We will update this policy when actual data flows, providers, or purposes change. Changes involving new permissions, third-party Garmin-data recipients, or AI processing will be explained before processing, with appropriate consent.
